Spread of False Testimony and Slanders
The spread of giving false testimony and slanders are among
the important portents of the Doomsday. This is actually
a consequence of people’s distancing from the morality of
the religion, for the morality of religion entails being
honest under all conditions and being just even if the consequences
may be against the interests of a person. People who are
distant from the morality of the religion and unaware that
they will give an account of their deeds on the Day of Judgment
can readily tell lies or give false testimony if these are
in their interests. The increasing number of such people
is the sign of the Prophet Jesus’ (pbuh) coming back to
Earth:
