Transmitted from Huzaifa: The Prophet (may God bless him and grant him peace) said: “O Huzaifa! On that day, they will be about to revert back from their religion...they will also not perform their salah (prayers). (al-Uqayli, The Expected Mahdi, 3rd edition

The Prophet (may God bless him and grant him peace) said: “One of the signs of the Doomsday is abandonment of salah...at that time, ya Selman! The most wicked of all sins and irreligiousness will occur. People will abandon salah and adhere to their lust. If you attain that period, perform your prayers on their respective times.” (Fera Idu Fevaidi’l Fiqr Fi’l Imam al-Mahdi al-Muntadhar, pp. 146-147)

People will encounter such a time that salah (prayers) will be abandoned, structures will extend, oaths and curses will be everywhere, bribery and adultery will spread and the Hereafter will be exchanged for this life. (Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Rasul Barzanji,
