The People of Iraq Flee to Damascus

The innocent and clean people of Iraq will flee to Sham.

The way that immediately before the outbreak of the Iraq War, tens of thousands of Iraqis sought to migrate to other countries, especially Syria, bears a great similarity to the event described in the hadith. News and pictures appeared in the media.

Migration drama.
Ten thousands of people from Erbil, with little food and cloth, left all their property behind in their homes and move towards the Turkish border.

Iraq under fire.
The Iraqi people hit the road. Those who could, left Iraq and those who couldn’t afford to, took a few belongings and sought refuge in the caves in the mountains. As always, the innocent children suffered most.
