An Embargo against Iraq and Damascus
 

Abu Nadr said; We were beside Jabir and he said, “The time is coming when not a bushel or a penny will be borne to the people of Iraq.”
We said, “Who will do this?” He replied, “The Ajams (non-Arabs) will forbid this.” Later he said, “Not a dinar, not a bushel will be borne to the people of Sham.” “Who will do this?” we asked. ''Because of the Romans (Westerners),” he responded. (Al-Taj, Ali Nasif al-Hussein)

  

 

Abu Huraira tells: "The Prophet (may God bless him and grant him peace) said; ‘The time will come neither a currency nor a penny will be given to Iraq. Its currency and dinar will also not be given to Sham. Its currency and dinar will also not be given to Egypt. You will return to the point you started’." (Sahih Muslim, Sunan Abu Dawud)

 

The embargos imposed on Iraq and Damascus are the signs for the End Times, that is, the coming of the Prophet Jesus (pbuh). It is interesting that for more than a decade, there have been embargos being imposed on Iraq. Meanwhile, there exists the possibility of placing embargos also on Syria
