The Solar Eclipse

Mahdi does not appear until the Sun rises as a sign. (Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, Al-Burhan fi' 'Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir al-zaman, p. 33)

As well as the explosion that took place in the 20th century, the sign that will appear on the Sun may well be the great Solar eclipse that happened in recent years.

Also, the August 11, 1999 solar eclipse was the last total Solar eclipse of the 20th century. It was the first time that so many people had been able to watch and study an eclipse for so long.

Turkiye, August 12, 1999
CNN.com (August, 11,1999): "Millions watch century's last eclipse"
BBC News (August 17,1999): "The Day became night"

It is of course no coincidence that so many signs should have come about one after the other in such a short space of time. These signs are each glad tidings from God to His faithful servants.
